Ryohei Fujimoto

Derived from the samurai sword forging method, the “Hizukuri” method requires to continually work around the furnis, keeping the metal over 600 Celsius to tighten and shape all by hand. 

Fujimoto’s third generation family, Ryohei is currently the only Hizukuri craftsman in Japan and has been awarded by the Japanese Craftsman Association for his skill and heritage.

Hammer Forge

Hizukuri made putters are known for their  dense and mild feel that are very different to block milled putters. The tightened grains during the Hizukuri method, makes every contact to the putter face on the feedback the ball surface contact

From start to end, each putter is only handled by the man himself and takes over 5 days to to complete a single piece. 

The swan neck putters that Ryohei creates are strictly made to order and he does not keep any stock. 

Therefore, each individual piece are unique and are able to be customised at almost any specs such are loft, lie, weight and stampings.
